We are looking to find someone to join our accounts team on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave cover. The role involves:
Responsibilities:
ï‚·Full management of purchase ledger, including full process of booking of invoices, getting authorities etc.
ï‚·Organising monthly supplier payments runs and managing ad-hoc payments
ï‚·Supplier statement reconciliation and query management
ï‚·Creation and processing of purchase orders and month end GRNI creation
ï‚·Bank reconciliation and processing of bank movements including FX booking
ï‚·Sales and purchase ledger reconciliation
ï‚·Cost data analysis
ï‚·Petty Cash reconciliation
ï‚·Maintaining stock lists for quarterly stock takes
ï‚·Updating various month end reporting documents, including H&S, utility data, sales and sector data, etc
ï‚·Providing data to credit management company
ï‚·Raising and reviewing and presenting Aged Debtor information to management team
ï‚·Good understanding of accounting principles and the month end closing process (B/S Reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliations, accruals, etc.)
ï‚·Answer incoming calls
ï‚·Investigate, resolve and answer general queries
ï‚·Keep internal supplier list and records up to date with certificates and questionnaires.
Adhoc Tasks:
ï‚·Filing/scanning/email management
ï‚·Import and Export administration
ï‚·Any other tasks that may arise along the accounting cycle
ï‚·Cover other team member’s roles during holidays
ï‚·Other ad-hoc supporting duties for the Financial Controller.
Experience Required:
ï‚·SAP Experience needed but training provided, high standard of Microsoft Excel skills with experience in VLOOKUP's, pivot tables formulas etc.
ï‚·Have a drive to automate processes wherever possible
ï‚·Able to work independently and with a small team within an office environment
ï‚·Ability to working under pressure to meet core business deadlines
You would be part of a small, vibrant team, be given extensive training and supported on a daily basis.
